Women's suits will soon be a hundred years old as a type of clothing. Not much, but still enough for them to become synonymous with maximum elegance. At the same time, however, they have also developed in a slightly different direction. That is why today a manufacturer of women's suits often offers both very formal suits. And those that are suitable for important occasions, but in a slightly more casual atmosphere.
When is it worth buying a women's suit?
In fact, the real boom in women's suits has only occurred in the last ten or a dozen years. It was then that this type of formal clothing became a symbol of reliability, professionalism and taste. A manufacturer of women's suits sews them primarily with the most important business meetings in mind. Hence the dominance of dark colors, or, if light, always subdued. However, a certain gap is created then, because there are no models for important occasions, but rather private or family ones. A good importer of women's suits can help. It is usually from an importer that you will be able to buy a women's suit with flowers or simply made of a more expressive color.
In reality, however, you have to remember that not all suits are created equal. Some models are designed from start to finish with business meetings in mind. But others, after some design modifications, work better as an alternative to evening or cocktail dresses. A women's suit is therefore worth buying when you simply want to have clothes in your wardrobe for special occasions. When you want to emphasize the importance of the event. And at the same time you want to emphasize your femininity, a suit will allow you to do so.
Women's suits for work?
A classic women's suit is probably not the ideal outfit for work. As for officewear, it is too ostentatious and formal. Of course, it all depends on the dress code at your job. How exposed your position is. However, in most cases you will have to look for something else, for example... a suit for work. Again - suit manufacturer, after making some modifications to the design. It can make the suit less terribly formal and gain a few more flavors that will bring it closer to the category of everyday wear. These are very interesting solutions, which usually involve either sewing in inserts. Or using a different material, or at least more pronounced decorative motifs. The only thing that will not change is the care for quality.
You have to remember that the suit is a set, so you usually don't take off the jacket. And this means that its material must provide comfort of wearing throughout the long day. This is quite a difficult challenge, which will be met primarily by cotton and woolen women's suits. Their lining can be made of, for example, viscose. It allows air to pass through quite well and provides additional comfort. Polyester, on the other hand, does poorly in this respect. This material is almost breathable, so sewing such a lining into a linen women's suit will ruin all the efforts put into creating the perfect suit for work in the summer. It is also worth taking a look at what a good wholesaler of women's suits has to offer. There, the offer is usually so extensive that you can find a set that will be sewn carefully and made of very high-quality materials, but will be loose enough to be used to create a style for less formal events.
Fit is important
When buying a women's suit, be sure to pay attention to its fit. Due to the fact that the cut of the suit is very conservative, the size must be chosen absolutely flawlessly. Some women's suit manufacturers offer clothing for plus-size or very slim women. In the case of a suit, never, under any circumstances, buy an "almost good" size, because the flaws in such a style will always be very visible. If you have a very unusual figure, you may need to make some tailoring adjustments, but before you ask, check whether the importer of women's suits does not have such unusual sizes in stock. Very often you will be able to buy even rare sizes.
Women's suit trousers are always quite tight. Remember this if you have particularly slim legs - then it will be better to find a model that has been designed to be slightly wider. The material will drape better and will allow you to maintain ideal body contours. As for the jacket itself, make sure that it looks impeccable both when buttoned and unbuttoned. Although women are not generally required to button and unbutton their jackets the same way as men, if you want to apply this rule, you need to be sure that the suit does not restrict movement when buttoned up, and still looks just as good when unbuttoned. If not, you need to look for a different size or make up for the shortcomings, for example by choosing the right blouse underneath.
